Hello,
I know... I've tried on many different hats, just let me explain... My name is Julia Dimayuga. I'm a graduate from San Jose State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television, and I've always loved telling stories. More specifically, I love writing them. After seeing the behind-the-scenes-footage of Garry Marshall's 2001 classic, Princess Diaries, and watching Disney 1998's Mulan; at 10 years old, my heart was set in the movies... much to the dismay of every adult that I ever met. But that never stopped me. It especially did not stop after downloading and reading over 20 screenplays, taking a couple of acting classes; I realized, how much I truly love these stories, and how badly I want to share my own! It took a while, but I eventually trusted in myself, my experience, and my voice. So, here we are. It involved a variety of departments like styling, production design, and more. As someone who loves the process of filmmaking so much, I wanted to learn as much as I can through different mediums. What drew me to the film industry was how the art form is uniquely integrative. Which is what I love most about it. My goal is to be able to highlight how stories and art integrate to celebrate the diverse and unique human experience. To enlighten and expand on what we already know, so we can keep telling better stories. If you have any questions, please click on the "Resume" tab above.
